UK, France, Germany Say Iran Regime Carried out Saudi Oil Attacks Written by  Mohammad Sadat Khansari  on  24 September 2019 . Britain, France, and Germany joined the United States on Monday in blaming Iran's regime for attacks on key oil facilities in Saudi Arabia. The fallout from the September 14 attacks is still reverberating as world leaders gather for their annual meeting at the United Nations General Assembly and international experts investigate, at Saudi Arabia's request, what happened and who was responsible. The leaders of the United Kingdom, France and Germany released a statement saying "there is no other plausible explanation" than that "Iran bears responsibility for this attack." They pledged to try to ease tensions in the Middle East and urged Iran's regime to "refrain from choosing provocation and escalation." Mrs. Maryam Rajavi , the President-elect of  the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) , descri...

UK: Iran's Regime Is Responsible for Attack on Saudi Oil Facilities Written by  Mohammad Sadat Khansari  on  23 September 2019 . Britain has concluded that Iran's regime was responsible for  attacks on oil facilities in Saudi Arabia , United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Monday. The United States and Saudi Arabia have already blamed Iran's regime for the September 14 strikes on two Saudi Aramco oil plants that initially halved the country's crude output. "The UK is attributing responsibility with a very high degree of probability to Iran for the Aramco attacks. We think it very likely indeed that Iran was indeed responsible," Johnson told reporters on a plane to the United Nations General Assembly in New York. "We will be working with our American friends and our European friends to construct a response that tries to de-escalate tensions in the Gulf region," he said, according to Reuters. British Foreign Secretary Dominic ...

Mr. Fox, who was in the cabinet until July, will use a speech in Washington to warn that the 2015 agreement was "flawed" from the start and that attempts to keep it alive are "futile,"  Britain's Daily Telegraph reported . Mr. Fox, who was international trade secretary until the summer and remains well-connected in Republican circles, will reveal his opposition to the deal today in a speech to the Heritage Foundation, a right-leaning think tank. “Following the decision of President Trump to withdraw, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action is dead and European attempts to salvage it are futile," Mr. Fox wr...

Iranian foreign minister should be banned from Europe, not welcomed – Struan Stevenson

Iranian foreign minister should be banned from Europe, not welcomed – Struan Stevenson Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif There was the usual outpouring of criticism when President Trump imposed sanctions on Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iran’s Foreign Minister. The left-wing press predictably went into meltdown, protesting in anger against the blacklisting of a foreign minister. But few people expected President Macron of France to extend a invitation to Zarif to attend the G7 summit in Biarritz. This appeared to be a particularly provocative move by the French president, given that Donald Trump was also attending the conference in Biarritz. Macron’s invitation should have come as no surprise. He has positioned himself as Europe’s leading appeaser of the medieval, fascist Iranian regime. But, it is worth taking a closer look at why the US State Department took the action it did. As Foreign Minister, Zarif is in charge of Iran’s army of ambassadors ...

Mr. Ahmady has researched female genital mutilation and child marriage in Iran, among other subjects. Another British dual national, Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, has been in Iranian custody since 2016 over spying claims. Earlier this year, the UK foreign office advised all dual nationals against all travel to Iran because of the risk of arbitrary detention. The new alleged arrest comes as high tensions, caused by oil tankers seizures, continue between the two countries. Image
German Trade With Iran Halves in 2019 Aug 13, 2019 By Pooya Stone German exports to Iran have fallen by nearly 50% in the first half of 2019, according to data released Monday. This suggests that German businesses have been cutting ties to Iran in order to avoid any potential trouble with the United States after Washington reimposed sanctions on the Gulf country last year. German sales to Iran fell to 678 million euros ($758.8 million) from January through June year-on-year, according to data from the Federal Statistics Office. This is a 48% drop. Meanwhile, German imports from Iran plunged to nearly 110 million Euros, which is a 43% decline. The BGA trade association  said : “The fact that trade between Iran and Germany has collapsed that massively is not a big surprise, unfortunately.” The trade group explained that the extra-territorial character of the recent US sanctions means that businesses in third countries can be punished for trading with Iran, norm...

Iran Regime's 14 Terrorist Training Camps Preparing to Strike West – Daily Star Written by  Shahriar Kia  on  12 August 2019 . Iranian opposition activists have revealed to Britain’s Daily Star a network of training camps run by Iran’s regime. It is suspected these military bases are used by the regime’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) Quds Force,  the Daily Star wrote  on August 12, 2019. The People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) - an opposition group which advocates the overthrow of the regime – revealed the map to Daily Star Online. Tehran is feared to use these terrorist camps to train “proxies” to launch operations deep into Europe and in the US, the report said. It comes as tensions flare in the Middle East as the dissolution of the so-called nuclear deal has paved the way for a new tanker war in the Strait of Hormuz. The Daily Star report stated: Shahin Gobadi, a spokesman for the PMOI, explained the headquarters of these forces i...

Michael Pompeo: Trump administration pressure is weakening Iran’s regime

Image
Michael Pompeo: Trump administration pressure is weakening Iran’s regime President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on July 16, 2019. Michael R. Pompeo   Opinion contributor Published 7:09 PM EDT Aug 6, 2019 The Trump administration has implemented an unprecedented pressure campaign on Iran’s leaders with two objectives: First, to deprive the Iranian regime of the money it needs to support its destabilizing activities. Second, to force Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to the negotiating table to conclude a comprehensive and enduring deal. The comprehensive deal we seek with the Iranian regime should address four key areas: its nuclear program, its ballistic missile development and proliferation, its support for terrorist groups and proxies, and its treatment and illegal detention of U.S. citizens. Before we reimposed sanctions and accelerated our pressure campaign, Iran was increasing its malign activity, even under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Ac...

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo made it clear in his opening remarks at the Australia–U.S. Ministerial Consultations (Ausmin) press conference that America wanted Australia to join the operation to stare down Iran's regime. Characterizing the relationship between Washington and Canberra as “unbreakable”, Secr...

EDITORIAL: Zarif's designation is the last nail in the coffin of the moderate mullah myth Published on  05 August 2019 . Last Thursday, the United States government imposed sanctions on the Iranian regime's foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif. "Foreign Minister Zarif and the Foreign Ministry he runs to take their direction from the Supreme Leader and his office. Foreign Minister Zarif is a key enabler of Ayatollah Khamenei's policies throughout the region and around the world," said the statement by the U.S. State Department. For four decades, the Iranian Resistance has emphasized that there are no so-called 'moderates' or 'reformists' in Iran's fascist dictatorship. Now, after 40 years of resistance and perseverance by the Iranian people and the Iranian Resistance, and after continuous and relentless revelations by the latter, the world has realized that behind these smokescreens is nothing but the wicked nature of the system of...
