Suppressive forces attack villagers’ homes and arrest young people On Sunday, October 20, 2019, the residents of Chenar Mahmoudi village in  Lordegan  again staged an anti-regime protest. Subsequently, Special Anti-riot units attacked the villagers’ homes and arrested the protesters, especially the youths dragging them on the ground to transfer them to their vehicles. Terrified of the coverage of this onslaught, the suppressive forces seized or broke the residents’ mobile phones. Seven men sentenced to amputation and whipping in Iran Aug 14, 2019 Amputation Iran The regime in Iran has sentenced seven men accused of theft, whipping and amputation of the hand and fingers.  According to the official Khorassan daily, the 8th chamber of the Tehran Criminal Court sentenced the "brigands" chief, named Ali, to have his hand amputated, while his accomplice, Shahine, was sentenced to the amputation of four fingers of the right hand. The other five accomplices were sentenced to five years in prison and 74 lashes each. The amputation of the hand and the lashes for the five men were confirmed by the Supreme Court. The official newspaper said the men belonged to a gang that burgled villas of wealthy Iranians in Tehran. Although Iranian officials are involved in astronomical diversions of money and massive corruption, Iran continues to impose cruel sentences on small thieves.
