MEK Rebuttal to Time Magazine Article, “Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei Is One Despot Trump Might Not Win Over” Written by Shahin Gobadi on  19 October 2019 . The following rebuttal was provided to Time magazine in response to its October 4, 2019 article entitled, “Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei Is One Despot Trump Might Not Win Over.”   As the magazine has failed to publish our response, it is being posted here .   PARROTING TEHRAN’S NARRATIVE By Shahin Gobadi There is only one way to explain “Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei Is One Despot Trump Might Not Win Over”, (Time, October 4, 2019) mistaken assessment of the status of the clerical regime, and its Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. EDITORIAL: Khamenei’s Well-Founded Fears Published on  11 October 2019 . Last week, the Iranian regime's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei broke his 40-day silence on the crises facing his regime. In a meeting with commanders of the terrorist Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) on October 2, Khamenei expressed “utter satisfaction” with their actions and described them as his “dear children.” While trying to be circumspect, Khamenei confessed to a wave of defections in the ranks of the IRGC and called on his commanders to be ready for “big incidents,” a euphemism for the tougher times that his regime will soon face. Recent events show Khamenei’s fear to be well-founded. His regime is indeed running headlong toward “big incidents” on various fronts. THE  LORDEGAN  HIV CRISIS Last week, news broke that Iranian health ministry workers had infected hundreds of residents in  Lordegan  county, Charmahal, and Bakhtiari province, with the HIV virus as a result o...

Khamenei commander of the guards, one of the guards with the rank of second lieutenant in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards generals appointed to control. The situation is unclear Khamenei spoke of the loss of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards forces! This shows that the situation behind the scenes is very sensitive and between death and life for the mullahs

As Iran reinforces impunity for past crimes, the world must demand justice Demonstrations hold portraits of Iranian politicians Massoud Rajavii and his wife, Maryam Rajavi, at a rally held by the Organization of Iranian-American Communities in support of a regime change in Iran, in Washington, D.C., on March 8. File Photo by Kevin Dietsch/UPI  By Bob Blackman Aug. 14 (UPI) --  At the end of July,  Amnesty International  released a new statement on one of the worst unresolved crimes against humanity in recent decades. The statement  was motivated by the latest remarks to emerge from Tehran regarding the Iranian regime's systematic massacre of political prisoners in the summer of 1988. Far from being held to account, the architects and participants in that massacre have been richly rewarded with positions of power and influence in government and various state-affiliated organizations. And this has helped to reinforce a sense of impunity, whi...
