Britain rules out seized tanker swap with Iran Iran detained the UK-flagged Stena Impero and its 23-strong crew as they sailed through the Strait of Hormuz on July 20 (AFP Photo/HO London (AFP) - Britain on Monday ruled out swapping seized oil tankers with Iran as a second UK warship arrived in the Gulf to conduct convoys that have irritated Tehran. A sense of crisis in the world's busiest oil shipping lane has been building up for weeks as Iran responds to US President Donald Trump's "maximum pressure" campaign. The US economic sanctions and stepped-up military presence are designed to force Iran to renegotiate a landmark 2015 nuclear pact from which Trump pulled out last year. Britain further outraged Iran by seizing one of its tankers -- the Grace 1 -- on July 4 on suspicion of it carrying oil to Syria in violation of EU sanctions. Iran vowed to retaliate and it's Revolutionary Guards stormed and detained the UK-flagged Stena Impero and its...

Defenders of the status quo continue to suggest that in order to avoid armed conflict, we must turn a blind eye to the theocratic regime’s domestic repression and its propensity for mischief-making beyond Iran’s borders. Starting with that assumption, anyone who recommends a decisive alternative policy is painted as a warmonger. But this is a false narrative, which serves the interests of the Iranian regime and has roots in its own propaganda networks. Tehran’s advocates and apologists in Washington have amplified and ...

Where's the dollar going? Look at the internal and external factors of rising dollar prices in Iran The price of the dollar is moving in a moving direction. Blocking the assets of the Ministry of Intelligence in France; The right move against the terrorist machine in Europe The blockade of the assets of the Ministry of Intelligence in France is one indication that the wheels are moving and accelerating against the Iranian terrorist machine in Europe. The conditions that indicate that the Iranian regime is in a state of inferiority, the stage which, more than ever, results in an act of this "anti-Islamic caliphate" against its existence. Bahar Mehr mehba13462 My article first published in The Herald Report The blockade of the assets of the Ministry of Intelligence in France was highlighted in a joint statement by the foreign ministers, the country, and the economy and property. by Jolie Kavar Man sets himself ablaze this morning in Tehran outside the Town Hall. It is possible the mid-aged man set himself ablaze due to the US dollar selling at 130,800  Rial . The economic crisis is out of hand by President Rouhani’s Cabinet. He has received top official’s blows since last week and was pressured in Majlis. The Iranian rial is scraping off its ever lowest to the dollar leaving two-thirds of the population under poverty margin. The self-immolation of this man, who is now close to death, is a result of a 40 year long corrupt regime. A short video and picture were wired on Iranian social media an hour ago. Iran’s state-run media have also reported the incident. Other unrest in society since May has been the nationwide truck drivers’ strike.  The Iranians are unhappy about daily high prices and unstable markets. Most of the people are now either out of jobs  or will soon have to think about other ways to overcome the present situati...
