#Iran – Maryam Rajavi: Protesters will not rest until the Iranian people and nation are free

Image
EU Reporter Correspondent  |  August 6, 2018 Maryam Rajavi  (pictured) , the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), has hailed the uprising by the people of Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, Mashhad, Ahvaz, Karaj, Arak, Shahin-Shahr, Najafabad, and other cities. “By defying the criminal Revolutionary Guards, Bassijis، and plainclothes agents once again today, the arisen women and youth represent a defiant generation which will not rest until the Iranian people and nation are free. They displayed the anger and hatred of the Iranian people toward the religious dictatorship ruling Iran,” Rajavi said. People in different cities came out onto the streets on Thursday, 2 August, chanting: “Death to the dictator”, “cannons, tanks, and machine guns are no longer effective, the mullahs must be killed,” and “today is the month of blood, Khamenei will be overthrown.” Rebellious cities are joining ranks one after the other. The cry by people who yearn...

Trump Says Iran’s Survival as a Country Is in Doubt

Trump takes questions from reporters in the Oval Office on Sept. 5.   Photographer: Evan Vucci/AP By  Justin Sink   Bloomberg, September 5, 2018 -  President Donald Trump said Iran’s future as a country is in doubt amid public discontent with the Islamic Republic. Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Wednesday that Iran is in “total turmoil” and “now they are just worrying about their own survival as a country.” The president spoke during a meeting with Kuwait’s emir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, echoing comments in a Bloomberg interview last week saying the Iranian regime may collapse because of his administration’s policies. “When I came into here, it was a question of when would they take over the Middle East,” Trump said Thursday of Iran in the Bloomberg interview. “Now it’s a question of will they survive. It’s a big difference in one and a half years.” Trump -- encouraged by Iran’s regional foes -- pu...

Will the Iranian regime survive people pressure, differences among officials?

Image
By  Hamid Bahrami   5 September 2018 In an  article for Al Arabiya  in August, I explained that Iran stands on the brink of a revolution. I highlighted two realities in the country to justify this conclusion. Firstly, the people of Iran are no longer able nor willing to live under the status quo and repression. Secondly, the ruling system, riddled with corruption, can no longer deceive people because of the growing domestic conflicts among the political establishment and is unable to reinstate the atmosphere of fear by its security organs because of losing ideological leverage. The removal and installation of several top officials last month with reports of President Rouhani facing serious challenges from within the theocratic establishment provide further proof of a deep split at the top of the ruling system. These moves to solidify ranks also testify to the fact that the theocracy is dealing with people who want to get rid of the regime. ANALYSIS:...

The era of the overthrow and the universal isolation of the mullahs regime

Image
The formation of the "Iran Action Group" by the US Department of State, as the tightening of the regime's isolation loop in the region and in Europe along with Iran's internal conditions, is reporting a new state of affairs that needs to be well understood That the era of appeasement in the previous administration of the United States is over is a tangible and understandable fact in international relations. Is this parameter the only and most effective parameter in the equation of state of the Iranian regime? From the outside, perhaps, but in fact, any political analyst familiar with the situation in Iran knows that this is not the main reason for the current situation of the Iranian regime. here we have to mention some other issues:  The rise of Iranian people's uprising and its impact on the international stage Women harbingers of uprising Undoubtedly, in the present moment in every transformation of Iran, including the accelerated accel...

The mullahs final stalemate despite Khamenei's denial

An expert on Iran’s affairs on the sidelines of a meeting on increasing protests in Iran and the impact of US sanctions at the Hudson Institute meeting held in Washington, DC on August 15, 2018, “Several high-ranking members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards may be separated from the military system,” he said, referring to some reports. We have recently witnessed store owners in Tehran’s shoe market go on strike for two days, despite authorities dispatching security units to prevent anyone from closing their shops. Prior to that, the textile market closed stores protesting skyrocketing prices and lack of raw material. Khamenei came to the scene on August 13 after long silence and spoke about various issues of the uprising, called the events of July and August, the free fall of the value of the national currency, the great corruption, and embezzlement that poured into the pocket of looters and corruptors for a short time, and He spoke of the pressure on the people a...
