Iran: PMOI/MEK supporters mark the election of Maryam Rajavi as opposition President Iran, October 21, 2019 —Supporters of the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran ( PMOI/MEK ) across Iran are celebrating the anniversary of Mrs.  Maryam Rajavi ’s election as President of the National Council of Resistance of Iran ( NCRI ). Four brave female members of a resistance unit in Tehran raised Maryam Rajavi posters and chanted, “Maryam, we’ll bring you to Tehran!” Three other such members in the Iranian capital were seen chanting, “Democracy, freedom, with Maryam Rajavi!” while raising images of the Iranian opposition President. Iran: PMOI/MEK supporters put up posters of opposition leaders Iran, October 20, 2019 —Supporters of the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran ( PMOI/MEK ) put up posters of Iranian Resistance leader  Massoud Rajavi  and opposition President  Maryam Rajavi , head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran ( NCRI ), in cities across the country. Members of “Resistance Units,” a network associated closely to the  PMOI/MEK , are literally risking their lives in such measures. If arrested, they are most likely issued heavy jail terms and there have been instances where the mullahs’ regime has issued death sentences for people who merely supported the PMOI/MEK. Large posters were put up in Ilam province, western Iran, with a line reading, “People should rise up to overthrow the mullahs’ regime” and “Down with Khamenei, Hail to Rajavi,” with the former referring to Iranian regime Supreme Leader  Ali Khamenei . IRAN: Defiant Youths’ Activities Against Repression Continue and Spread in Different Cities Published on  16 October 2019 . Protest actions and activities against the repression by  defiant youths  in different parts of the country have become more widespread in October. From October 10 to October 13, Tehran and other cities, including Karaj, Shiraz, Isfahan, Mashhad, Kermanshah, Arak, Orumiyeh, Alborz (Mehr Shahr), and Babolsar were the  scenes of activities by defiant youths . EDITORIAL: Khamenei’s Well-Founded Fears Published on  11 October 2019 . Last week, the Iranian regime's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei broke his 40-day silence on the crises facing his regime. In a meeting with commanders of the terrorist Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) on October 2, Khamenei expressed “utter satisfaction” with their actions and described them as his “dear children.” While trying to be circumspect, Khamenei confessed to a wave of defections in the ranks of the IRGC and called on his commanders to be ready for “big incidents,” a euphemism for the tougher times that his regime will soon face. Recent events show Khamenei’s fear to be well-founded. His regime is indeed running headlong toward “big incidents” on various fronts.
