Iran: Well-known political prisoner tells detained mom to persevere

Iran, Aug. 4, 2019 - In a letter to his mother, Soheil Arabi, a prominent political prisoner in Iran said to persevere. Mr. Abrabi's mother Farangis Mazloom is also incarcerated in the notorious Evin Prison.
“Endure mother, persevere, dear mother, victory comes from resistance and aptitude. Endure mother that the end of this corrupt and repressive regime is near. Endure mother that the rains of misery will eventually stop falling,” Arabi wrote in his letter to his mother.
Arabi was arrested on November 7, 2013, and transferred to Evin Prison. His mother, Farangis Mazloom, was arrested in her house on July 23 of this year by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS). She is currently held at the same jail.
