Iran, Aug 4, 2019 - Part-time teachers rallied from across the country in Tehran on Sunday, protesting not receiving any answers to their demands. They gathered outside the regime’s Ministry of Education and were seen holding banners and signs reading their demands, including: “Part-time teachers have suffered cruelty and will no longer accept discrimination.”
The protesters are demanding their job status be clarified before the start of the new school year on September 23.
“Open your windows and impose justice,” these protesting part-time teachers chanted to Education Ministry officials inside the building.

As protests have been continuing across the country, Saturday also witnessed a slate of protests across different Iranian cities, including Mashhad, Qazvin, Assaluyeh and Kuchesfehan.

In Mashhad, northeast Iran, a group of nurses gathered in front of the governor's office and protested to the regime’s lack of response to their demands and their poor working conditions. The nurses have not been receiving their salaries regularly and aren't being paid properly for their overtime work.
Strikes by oil and gas sector workers in Assaluyeh
In Assaluyeh of oil-rich Khuzestan Province, southeast Iran, workers of the Phase 14 gas field went on strike in protest to not receiving their salaries. The protesters say, "We are working in this hot hell, but we haven't received our paychecks for the past six months."

Protests by counter manufacturing workers in Qazvin
Workers of Qazvin's counter manufacturing plant held a demonstration on Saturday protesting not receiving their salaries. These employees held their gathering in front of the Qazvin governorate building.

Truck drivers in Kuchesfehan of Gilan Province, northern Iran, held a demonstration in front of the mayor's office and protested to limits imposed on transferring cargo and selling sand and gravel.
