Iranian regime leader breaks silence, rejects negotiations with U.S. Reporting by PMOI/MEK Iran, September 18, 2019 —After a month of silence, Iranian regime supreme leader Ali Khamenei finally made remarks on recent rumors and prospects about possible negotiations between his regime and the U.S. administration. Khamenei outright rejected any plans for talks with U.S. authorities, unless they “repent.” Khamenei also dismissed efforts by European states to mediate talks between the U.S. and the Iranian regime as part of the "maximum pressure" campaign. Khamenei had gone into silence during the past month, especially as  infighting among senior regime officials  was intensifying. Besieged by security forces, Hepco workers continue their protests Iran's HEPCO workers' protest continue Reporting by PMOI/MEK Iran, September 18, 2019 —On Tuesday, workers of Iran’s HEPCO construction equipment manufacturer continued their protests in front of the company’s offices despite the heavy presence of security forces. In the past days, the workers, who have been sporadically protesting in recent years, have staged  continuous demonstrations , calling on Iranian regime officials to respond to their demands. On Monday, Iranian security forces  attacked, assaulted and arrested  several of the protesting workers of HEPCO. The workers had blocked the local railway in protest to the empty promises of Iranian authorities and the regime’s lack of response to their demands.
