Two hanged in northern Iran Executions in Iran under the mullahs' regime Reported by PMOI/MEK Iran, Aug. 4, 2019  -  The criminal regime of Iran hanged two prisoners on Thursday, August 1, in Lakan Prison of Rasht, a city in northern Iran. Koosha Mottaghi is the only identity released to the public. Elsewhere, regime authorities sent three prisoners to solitary confinement in Zahedan Prison, southeast Iran, to be hanged soon. One of the prisoners is identified as 27-year old Ebrahim Shahoo-Zehi. Similarly, a man was sentenced on Friday to be hanged after being accused of killing two repressive agents of the mullahs’ regime. The court in the city of Minab in Hormuzgan province, southern Iran, condemned him to two hanging sentences for the alleged murders. Iran: Fire on bus transferring university students Fire on a bus carrying college students in Yazd, central Iran Reported by PMOI/MEK Iran, Aug. 4, 2019  -  A school bus carrying 40 female university students got on fire on the way to the city of Yazd, central Iran. Nine girls were reported to have suffered burns and injuries in this dramatic tragedy that took place some 65 km north of the city. The bus was traveling south from the northeastern city of Mashhad all the way to Larestan in Fars province, southcentral of Iran. The incident, which according to the reports was due to a fire in the engine, happened on Friday at around 2 pm local time in the Aliabad mountain path. It is worth noting that due to bad and damaged roads in Iran, many cars or busses catch on fire or have accidents, killing and maiming many passengers and leaving their families mourning for their unfortunate losses. Iran: Youth, unemployed protest in Ahvaz Youth seeking jobs in Ahvaz holding a protest rally outside the local oil company office Reported by PMOI/MEK Iran, Aug. 4, 2019  -  Based on a previously made call for protests, dozens of youth and unemployed young men gathered in front of the state oil company in the city of Ahvaz in Khuzestan Province, southwest Iran, protesting the officials' refusal to hire them on a permanent basis. Company authorities, fearing the protest spreading to other streets and picking up pace, called on the repressive state security forces to put down the protest. A number of protesters were arrested, according to local reports.

Iran: Well-known political prisoner tells detained mom to persevere Mrs. Farangis Madhloom, mother of political prisoner Soheil Arabi Reported by PMOI/MEK Iran, Aug. 4, 2019  - In a letter to his mother, Soheil Arabi, a prominent political prisoner in Iran said to persevere. Mr. Abrabi's mother Farangis Mazloom is also incarcerated in the notorious Evin Prison.  “Endure mother, persevere, dear mother, victory comes from resistance and aptitude. Endure mother that the end of this corrupt and repressive regime is near. Endure mother that the rains of misery will eventually stop falling,” Arabi wrote in his letter to his mother. Arabi was arrested on November 7, 2013, and transferred to Evin Prison. His mother, Farangis Mazloom, was arrested in her house on July 23 of this year by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security ( MOIS ). She is currently held at the same jail.

According to a statement issued by the National Council of Iran on the same day, they called for the terrorist listing of the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), the Ministry of Intelligence (MOIS) and the Office of Khamenei, the Supreme Leader.
