Mulla added that Soleimani seeks to create an effective political movement to influence the political blocs that seek to form the next government. I highlighted two realities in the country to justify this conclusion. Firstly, the people of Iran are no longer able nor willing to live under the status quo and repression. Secondly, the ruling system, riddled with corruption, can no longer deceive people because of the growing domestic conflicts among the political establishment and is unable to reinstate the atmosphere of fear by its security organs because of losing ideological leverage. I have always been fascinated by the mythical creature, the Phoenix. In Iran and Greek mythology, the Phoenix is a long-lived bird that cyclically regenerates or is otherwise born again. It is associated with the Sun, a phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor. According to some sources, the phoenix dies in a show of flames and combustion. Job even speaks of this creature in the Bible: Then I thought, ‘I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply my days like the Phoenix.
